The following are conclusions obtained from the analytical investigations in this paper. (1) The experiments in the earlier papers can be analyzed as a system with one degree of freedom which consists of a mass and a spring. (2) It is proper to use the visco-elastic method, or the free vibrating method, which is named particularly in this paper, for the method of determining the spring constant of the yarn.
